Savoir-faire ancestral

The Maheswari Classic Belt is the result of two complementary French craftsmanship traditions coming together. Nahua designs and hand embroiders the buckle, inspired by the lotus flower, while it is mounted on a genuine leather belt crafted by Yolete, a French brand renowned for its expertise in leatherwork. Together, they create an elegant, durable and timeless accessory.

Each buckle is entirely hand embroidered using cotton and viscose threads, then delicately embellished with beads and sequins that enhance every detail. Inspired by the lotus flower, a symbol of purity, harmony and renewal, the embroidery brings texture, depth and subtle brilliance to this distinctive design.

The Maheswari Classic Belt is available in two exclusive colour combinations:

  • Indigo: genuine black leather Yolete belt with a Silver buckle.
  • Amber Night: genuine camel leather Yolete belt with a Gold buckle.

Versatile and timeless, it pairs beautifully with jeans, tailored trousers, dresses or blazers, adding an elegant embroidered touch without overpowering your outfit.

Combined with the earrings, bracelets, rings, necklaces and handbags from the Maheswari Classic collection, it creates a perfectly coordinated look where embroidery becomes Nahua’s unmistakable signature.

Inspired by the lotus flower

The lotus is the emblem of the Maheswari Classic collection, representing serenity, resilience and transformation. Through meticulous embroidery and carefully selected materials, Nahua transforms this meaningful symbol into an elegant accessory that combines artisanal craftsmanship with timeless style.

A unique craftsmanship

Created using a unique vertical embroidery technique, each Nahua jewel embodies a fragment of an ancestral craftsmanship that dates back to the time of the first Maharajas.

To preserve this exceptional heritage, we work hand in hand with master artisans, adapting a technique that was originally reserved for ceremonial garments and the uniforms of the Indian army.

In doing so, we help keep this remarkable tradition alive while supporting the many Indian families who continue to make a living from their extraordinary craftsmanship.
